Consolidation

As a part of NGL’s multi-supplier consolidation program, suppliers to major retailers maintain inventories in a common location. You’ll reduce prepaid freight costs by combining several suppliers’ orders in one truckload shipment to retailers like Wal-Mart.

• Suppliers maintain appropriate inventories at any one or all of NGL’s high volume, state-of-the-art distribution centers
• Retailers such as Wal-Mart, submit POs to a number of suppliers, all set for the same date
• When truckload quantities are reached, the retailer links the POs with a common load number
• Loads are transmitted with corresponding POs to NGL at the same time POs are sent to the suppliers.
• NGL assigns the loads to TL carriers to meet the arrive by date
• Suppliers release the POs from their inventory at NGL and loads are assembled at our facility
• Orders ship pre-paid from the consolidation facility to the retailer’s DCs
