Ranjit Thaker Joins Network Global Logistics as Chief Information Officer

Torrance, CA – July 1, 2007: Network Global Logistics (NGL), a leading provider of supply chain, logistics and transportation services, has announced that Ranjit Thaker has joined the company as Chief Information Officer.

As CIO for NGL, Mr. Thaker is responsible for all aspects of information systems and technology within the organization, focusing on strategic planning, capital expenditures, technology implementation, staffing, and communication.

Raymond J. Garcia, NGL's CEO, stated that Mr. Thaker, "will play an integral strategic role in the continued growth and success of NGL. Due to his extensive experience, he will bring a unique and innovative view to how we manage our IT operations and application services in support of our growing client base. We are excited to have him on our team."

Prior to joining NGL, Mr. Thaker worked for Daylight Transport, a non-asset based transportation and logistics company, holding several executive management positions, including Chief Information Officer, Vice President of IT, and Director of Application Development. He has also held a senior IT position with First Data Corp.

Mr. Thaker has also worked as a lead consultant on enterprise mission-critical IT projects for companies including Yellow Freight Systems, EDS, and Andersen Consulting. Mr. Thaker received a MS in Computer Systems Management from the Creighton University, as well as a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Government Polytechnic in Ahmedabad, India. He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
